Reka's is the best! My first Thai experience wasn't a good one and I was reluctant to try it again, but Reka's changed my entire opinion of Thai food. I've tried several different dishes and they are all delicious. Needless to say, but I will be back again and again.

Pros: delicious authentic thai dishes; service

Cons: none!

I grew up in Rockland - what many people would consider "upstate"! On a special weekend night out I'd make the trip across the bridge to Reka's for Thai. Their food is so great, so fresh and so delicious! If you're in the mood for thai food, and live in the "burbs" you do not have to settle on the mass chain restaurants or getting chinese take out - Reka's is the real deal! I will definitely be going back!!!

My daughter and I were fed up with PF Chang and Cheescake factory so wer were determined to find a parking spot at this restaurant. We were so happy that they have valet parking. Inside is definitely cozy, romantic and the bronzeware on the table was quite impressive. I've never seen them anywhere else. We ordered our boring chicken satay but it had turned out not boring at all, u could tell that they make them here especially the peanut sauce. We were told that crispy duck was their specialty, I'm not crazy about duck to start off but my daughter loves it. I like the crispy vegtable that came with and the fruit saue was a perfect marriage of sweet and tangy. Too bad the waitress didn't tell us at the begining. I like my sauteed basil shrimp but it needs more sauce. I was told by our waitress that they will make it up next time because everytthing is cooked fresh so they didn't have the extra sauce. My daughter ordered purple rice pudding with coconut milk and we both loved it. It didn't look so appetizing when we first saw it, but the taste had exceeded our expectation. I overheard the next table talked about coming for mother's day, wonderful idea!

I live right next to this place and I always wanted to go. Once I did, I regretted it. I love Thai food, but I think they cook there rats or something. I got curry chicken, and they gave me the dark meet, drenched in coconut milk and red curry. It was so nasty. My friend couldn't even eat. When they saw she couldnt't they offered something else. Nice huh? Not really considering that once she said no, they didnt let us pay the check and leave. They MADE her order. She disliked it too and then they gave us a nasty ice cream dessert. DONT GO THERE FOR YOUR OWN GOOD.
