Description: Segismundo, a prince, is imprisoned after his horoscope revealed that he will bring disaster to the country. After almost a lifetime in prison, Segismundo is released to reign over the country, however, he turns rebellious and commits rape and murder. He is then drugged, re-imprisoned and told that the previous events were a dream, which brings him to question what parts of his life are reality and which are a dream. The play, Calderóns most famous work, is considered an allegory about the human situation and the mystery of life. Tickets start at 25.
